1. Para — The Spirit alongside (convicting and drawing)

• Greek para, “beside”: the Spirit stands next to unbelievers, stirring their hearts when they hear the gospel (John 16:8-11).
• He is the Paraklētos—advocate, counselor, legal helper—pleading Christ’s case to the lost.
• Hardened resistance can lead to spiritual deafness; repeated rejection is the essence of blaspheming the Spirit.

2. En — The Spirit within (indwelling and transforming)

• At conversion the Spirit moves from “with” to “in” (John 14:17).
• Believers become His temple (1 Cor 6:19; 3:16).
• Indwelling brings:
